A Great Event Starts with the Right Place
Agh!! Where do I begin… I am beyond satisfied with my experience at 1442!! Backstory: My fiancé and I (now husband🥰) have put off setting a wedding date for years… We finally decided to set a date for 8 months out 🤯, and all we had was a color scheme in mind. If you have ever planned a wedding you know that is crazy of us but we no longer wanted to wait. We started with our guest list and location. We knew we wanted an intimate setting and somewhere nearby in the Sacramento area. Many people on Facebook recommended 1442 so we booked a consultation and instantly knew it was the place of our dreams! Luckily, they had a few days open for the month we had in mind! Shelah and her team were super accommodating and welcoming. We decided to go with her full package deal to make things easier and less stressful. OUR WEDDING WAS A FAIRYTALE DREAM COME TRUE! It definitely will not be our last event held at 1442!! Thank you Shelah!

1442 on the Blvd is such a beautiful venue! It had beautiful lighting, an outdoor patio, parking, bathrooms, and a kitchenette! anything you could ask for in a venue, they had it + more. I also had my event planned by Shelah and team (Begetting Events) and it was more than I could ever even imagine. They made my vision come true, and was so impressed my the professionalism and the event planning. I gave the reigns to Shelah and her team and they definitely came through. Everyone was in complete awe! Would highly recommend this venue, as well as planning your event through Shelah! You will not be disappointed!

I reached out to Shelah of Begetting Events in need of catering service for my reception that was a month away. I provided her a menu I was working on with a prior caterer who backed out on me. She reviewed the menu and provided me additional options while sticking close to my budget. The day of my event Shelah came ready to work. She was very professional, the food presentation was great and the food was delicious. There were minor “hiccups” the day of my event, but Shelah and her assistant were able to pivot through the process seamlessly. If you are in need of a catering service for your event I would highly recommend Begetting Events. You will not be disappointed.

Shelah and her team are awesome! I could not have imagined how beautiful the venue looked! Shelah added features we would not have imagined having. The staff; DJ, Bartender, wait staff, photographers and security were so friendly and were very personable with our guests. Everyone who came was impressed and amazed by the total concept, service and amenities. I recommend Shelah and her venue, she will now be our one stop for all events! Shelah was so great to work with! She was accommodating and kind. The venue looked amazing! It has fairy lights lining the ceiling and beautiful string lights on the outdoor patio. It was so convenient to have an extra lot for additional parking. Her venue also had additional tables, chairs, and outdoor heating lamps for use. 1442 On The Blvd has everything you need to create a party to remember! Highly recommend booking your next event here!

I rented this venue for my daughter’s quinceañera. They have the best staff, super friendly and helpful! Literally will go above and beyond to help you! The space is super nice and luxurious! 100% recommended!!!

Such a beautiful venue! I loved the outdoors and lighting! We celebrated my daughter’s quinceañera, which was something small and intimate. Everything turned out amazing. I had a vision and Shelah did amazing with the decoration. She went above and beyond! I highly recommend this venue.

Celebrated my mom’s 50th birthday here. The venue is beautiful with plenty of parking and outdoor area. The owners were extremely accommodating and wonderful to work with. We had a great time, and cannot wait to book again.
